4 large onions peeled and sliced 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard 1/2 cup of brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/4 cups TasteMaker Red Wine Vinegar 2 Parts Good quality olive oil |
Heat the oil in a frypan and sauté the onions over a medium heat for approximately 10 minutes. Add the Vinegar, sugar, salt and mustard. Bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for approximately 15 minutes to thicken. Pack into jars and seal once cold. Keep refrigerated and shake before use.
